For the last five years I have been the crating manager at Mobius LLC, a fine art crating, transportation and storage company. As crating manager my responsibilities included generating the production schedule to meet deadlines, supervising crate shop crew to improve quality and quantity of all crating operations, and the maintenance of shop integrity. I was charged with restructuring the shop layout to improve the company's overall capabilities, accountable for the design of 3-dimentional packing jobs, and sole engineer for concept and development of advanced solutions for specialized crating components. As a practical manager my time was also spent both building and packing crates as well as functioning as the preferred on-site 3-d packing specialist/consultant. I also have extensive experience in the on site handling and installation of fine art. Our clients included: Pace Wildenstein, Barry X Ball, Tara Donovan, Museum of Natural History, Museum of Biblical Art, Folk Art Museum, Knoedler Gallery, Anthony Meier Fine Arts, School of Visual Arts, as well as many others.
I excel in these areas because I am a self-starting and motivated individual who is capable of conceptual design work as well as the hands on, nuts and bolts work of construction. . Though my background spans a variety of areas I have always been one to adapt and excel. My investment in my career and reputation makes me reliable, hard working and talented.
